Outpatient Drug & Alcohol Treatment Program

Co-occurring addiction treatment, often called dual diagnosis or integrated care, occurs those who struggle with addiction also have other illnesses that influence the addiction, such as bipolar disorder, anxiety or depression. If these issues are not addressed, then relapses can happen again and again.

We use an integrated treatment approach at Aquila to treat both addiction and the co-occurring disorders. Each illness needs its own treatment plan and our one-on-one support and small groups help identify and treat patients in a holistic way.

If neither illness is treated, one can make the other worse, and when only one illness is treated, treatment is less likely to be effective. When both illnesses are treated, the chances for a full and lasting recovery are greatly improved.
