Outpatient Drug Treatment Program

Finding help for a drug addiction is a courageous first step.

But "drug treatment" is a broad term. Effective recovery must be specific to the substance, the person, and their life.

At Aquila, we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

We create personalized, outpatient treatment plans for professionals that address the root cause of the addiction, allowing you to heal while maintaining your career and family life.

Specialized Outpatient Programs for Your Specific Needs

Our programs are designed to treat specific substance use disorders. We provide targeted, evidence-based care based on your unique needs.

Cocaine Addiction Treatment

Our cocaine addiction treatment program is built for professionals in the D.C./NoVa area. We focus on dual-diagnosis care to manage the "hustle culture" burnout and anxiety that can drive cocaine use, all within a flexible evening IOP.

Opiate & Prescription Pill Treatment

We provide a medical-first approach for those with a dependency on opiates (like OxyContin or Vicodin).

We coordinate your safe detox first, then provide the long-term outpatient therapy needed for lasting recovery.

Benzodiazepine (Anxiety Med) Treatment

Dependency on medications like Xanax, Klonopin, or Valium requires a specialized plan.

Our clinical team can help you create a safe, gradual taper and provide intensive therapeutic support to manage the underlying anxiety.

The First Step: A Safe, Personalized Detox Plan

Your safety is our first priority. The detox process is different for every substance.

Opiates and benzodiazepines, for example, often require a coordinated medical detox to be managed safely. Other dependencies may not.

Our clinical team will conduct a 100% confidential assessment and create a personalized plan to ensure you are safe and comfortable before starting our outpatient program.

We will manage your referral to a trusted local partner if needed.

Our Outpatient Model: Get Help Without Pausing Your Career

Our flexible outpatient model means you can continue working, attending school, or supporting your family. We specialize in:

  • Evening IOP/OP - Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) programs with flexible schedules that fit your professional life.
  • Dual Diagnosis - We don't just treat the substance; we treat the why, the underlying anxiety, depression, burnout, or trauma.
  • Evidence-Based Therapies - Using proven methods like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build real-world coping skills.

The Insurance Solution: Using Your Professional Benefits

Cost should not be a barrier to care. We work hard to make our programs accessible. We are in-network with all Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) products.

We have a special "out-of-network" pricing model for most PPO plans (like Aetna, Cigna) that brings your cost down to in-network levels.

Frequently Asked Questions About Drug Treatment & Rehab

What is the difference between inpatient and outpatient rehab?

Inpatient (or residential) rehab requires you to live at the facility. Our outpatient (IOP/OP) programs allow you to live at home and maintain your career while attending scheduled treatment sessions.

Will my treatment be confidential?

Yes. Your privacy is our top priority. All care and communications are 100% confidential and protected by federal HIPAA laws.

How do I know if I need detox?

Our clinical team will determine this during your confidential assessment. If you are dependent on substances like opiates or benzodiazepines, a medical detox is a critical first step for your safety, and we will coordinate it for you.

Do you treat methadone dependency?

No, Aquila Recovery does not provide treatment for methadone dependency.

Recovery isn't easy, but having the right people... makes all the difference.
